2012-Catch a Rising Star
Catch a Rising Star is a series of mobility clinics that provide post-rehabilitation and support to individuals who have suffered a traumatic injury or a physical disability.
“As a teenager, it is really, really hard to be “different”, and even harder to try to keep up with my classmates in gym and on the weekends. Without clinics and resources like Catch a Rising Star, I would be stumbling and falling and would be the joke of the school. Thanks to CAF, I can now run, jump, kick and “hang tight” with everyone else. In fact, this clinic taught me some agility skills and now some of my friends can’t even keep up with me! CAF and Catch a Rising Star has truly changed my life – I see now that anything is possible, I just have to give it a try.”
