Marc S. Martinez

Marc S. Martinez is currently a Supervising United States Probation Officer and has worked in the field for over 20 years.  The obstacles he has overcome with the help from Allard’s ToeOFF is what brought him to Dralla Foundation. After suffering a training injury, he endured years of constant pain. He eventually had a procedure that resulted in significant nerve damage and affected his ability to run or even walk without tripping. While attending the inaugural San Antonio Rock N Roll Marathon in San Antonio, TX, Marc was deeply inspired and made a promise to himself to start running.

He began a search for better braces than the ones he was wearing, and discovered Allard’s ToeOFF. Since then, he has completed 5 Rock N Roll half Marathons (3 San Antonio, 2 Las Vegas). “I know what it’s like to face physical challenges in doing things, “ says Martinez “I believe that if opportunities can be provided to assist people with similar issues, the possibilities are extraordinary.”

He is a member of the Texas Gang Investigators Association (TGIA), an organization dedicated to identifying, investigating , and prosecuting organized crime. He has also been involved with the San Antonio Conservation Society since 1999 as part of the annual Night In Old San Antonio (NIOSA), serving initially as a general volunteer leading up to his current title as Food Chairman for one of the main event areas.
