I.D.E.A.S.

Interactive Drama for Education and Awareness in the Schools was established to offer participatory drama programs at the heart of a well-rounded education that focuses on the individual.  We are primarily concerned with youth populations that are routinely excluded from drama and theater experiences, using drama as a teaching and learning tool.  These populations include youth with physical, sensory and cognitive disabilities as well as other disadvantages, be they social, economic or geographic, providing equal access to participatory drama opportunities.

I.D.E.A.S. Creative Drama

In IDEAS Creative Drama, high school students with multiple disabilities enact familiar stories or base their improvised scenarios on what they see from a photograph, a book title, a simple suggestion or a prop or costume piece.
