Testimonials
“The Sunrise Ascent on Mount Washington was the highlight of my summer. I was excited about participating, but I never imagined it having the broad personal impacts that it did. I wasn’t alone in my accomplishment, but part of a team and community of people. This was striking for as I am so often focused on my independence and maintaining that independence, I hadn’t realized how that was limiting my life experiences. As a paraplegic, the opportunity to participate in the Sunrise Ascent allowed me to move from being a minority to a place in the majority… this was incredibly eye opening and empowering. I am already planning, training and looking forward to the 2014 Ascent!”
